VACP is a small business operated by and for Vintage AirCooled VW enthusiasts. We design, build and sell quality products for the ACVW community and take great pride in what we do. We won't ever sell something we wouldn't use on our personal vehicles.

All VACP designed parts are sold for off-road use only. All performance modifications and installations are at the customers own risk. VACP holds no responsibility either implied or otherwise for mechanical, electrical or other failure when using any aftermarket performance products. Items sold for off-road use only are illegal in many states and provinces and are intended for racing vehicles which may never be used on a public road.
By purchasing any aftermarket performance product, the customer takes full responsibility for any use, and/or misuse of the product and agrees that VACP holds no responsibility for any consequences, legal, or other, of such use and/or misuse.

Return Policy

While VACP makes every effort to insure each product we sell is the highest quality, mistakes do happen. Parts can get lost or damaged in shipping or QC issues slip past us. We are human after all. Our return/replacement policy is as follows: VACP has a 10 day return policy, which means you have 10 days after receiving your items to request a return for damaged, missing or incorrect items. We do not accept returns for ordering the wrong item or changing your mind. Please make sure you are ordering the correct part for your vehicle and if giving as a gift, that the person you are buying for wants the item. VACP reserves the right to refuse any returns for non damaged or incorrectly ordered items. All refunds or exchanges will be at the discretion of VACP.
To be eligible for a return, you must contact us at sales@vintageacp.com within 10days of receipt of the item. If your return is accepted, we will send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted, refunds will not be issued and return shipping will be the customers responsibility.
Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. This must be done within 10 days of reciept. Returns must be shipped within 5 days of issuance of an RMA. VACP will determine return shipping method at its discretion.
Special Order Items.
Custom or special order items cannot be returned for any reason other than damage in transport. VACP will decide to refund or replace damaged custom orders at it's discretion.
Items lost in transit.
VACP reserves the right to decide whether to replace or refund items lost in transit.
Stolen Items.
It is the customers responsibility to insure the address given is secure against damage or theft and able to receive shipments. VACP is not responsible for damage or theft of items once delivered by the carrier to the address given by the customer.
Fitment.
VACP only guarantees fitment for U.S. destination vehicles and the years specified. We cannot guarantee fitment for vehicles destined for or assembled in markets outside of the U.S. such as Mexico or Brazil. Please be 100% sure that the parts you are ordering correctly correspond to the U.S. YOM you are ordering. VACP reserves the right to refuse return for fitment issues for vehicles not specified in the order description. We will make every effort to work with customers to determine proper fitment, but in the end it is the customers responsibility to insure what parts will interchange and/or fit their vehicle.
International Shipping
It is up to the customer to be aware of their respective countries duties, VAT charges, Taxes and/or customs clearance charges. Many countries add these fees onto the delivery which are payable upon receipt. VACP does not keep track of or pay these charges nor do we accept cancellation and/or return of merchandise due to these fees. If you are unsure of these charges, please contact your local carrier and/or customs facility to calculate these costs prior to placing an order. Any refused shipments will be subject to a 25% restocking fee as well as all shipping costs incurred.
